We are curently looking in to installing solar panels at school to help be more energy efficient. At the moment authorisation has been granted for the installation and the next step is a site visit to see if our roof is suitable. We will let you know how we get on with this process.
Ragtex Recycling company visited to provide an assembly to the whole school.
Once a term we collect clothing, fabric, bed linen and soft toys no longer used and bring them to school for collection by the Ragtex van. All these fabrics are then taken for recycling.
We continue to collect ink cartridges, so if you have any old ones lying around, please bring them in!
In November 2011, we achieved Green School Staus with 'Empties Please' and have currently raised over £100 by collecting and sending old ink cartridges to them - Thank you to all who have participated.
